How much sugar should I consume?
The daily recommended amount of sugar for those aged 11 or over is 30g.
As part of a healthy diet you should eat fewer foods and drinks that are high in sugars especially those which contain added sugars because they have lots of calories and little/no nutrient value. Eating such foods often can contribute to you becoming overweight.
