The key to our project is understanding the underlying reasons for why a child is obese, and then being able to put strategies and practical support in place to enable each young person and their families to make changes to their mental and physical health and well-being. It is therefore vital, for the young people on our programme to receive the full services from various professionals to ensure positive changes are made and their individual objectives are met.
The Revive Project is a non-profit organisation, this means that grants, funding, donations, fundraising and sponsorship are all key aspects to ensure that the young people of Wolverhampton who are currently overweight or obese are able to receive our services for free.
Any form of donation would be hugely appreciated to help to continue provide free services for the young people of Wolverhampton. You can make a donation to help support The Revive Project in various ways:
- Online donation through Golden Giving (an ethical giving platform) using the ‘Donate’ button
- Sending a cheque, made payable to ‘The Revive Project’ to the address on the ‘where to find us page’
- Or you can make a bank transfer, please contact us on email@example.com if you would like to do so.
As we are championing health and well-being, we would love our local community to get involved with not just our fundraising events but by you fundraising yourselves! You can easily get involved by doing a running, walking, swimming or cycling challenge, organising a golf day / football game, a danceathon or organising a coffee morning… Whatever you choose to do, we will provide you with merchandise, flyers and also information regarding The Revive Project and Childhood Obesity. Collectively we can make huge changes to decrease the amount of young people who are affected by being overweight or obese. Keep posted for more information on our own fundraising events and how you can become involved on our events page.
